Leaning tower of stacking cups

When we were in California, Ivy was scared of these stacking cups. She actually cried when we stacked them and knocked them over. But now she has overcome her fear!


After she knocks them over, we all say "Yay, Ivy!" and clap. She will then grin and clap with us.

On another note, Ivy had her 1 year checkup this week. She is right about 50th percentile for weight and height. She weighs 20 pounds 4 ounces and is 29 inches tall. And she did NOT enjoy her visit. She had to get 4 shots (given by an uncompassionate nurse who took her time giving each one) and then had to get her finger pricked and have blood squeezed out of it. Poor girl. Not the best way to celebrate your first birthday!
